Minos Fel'Kona

Minos Fel'Kona was a Jedi Knight who spent his time at the Jedi Academy on Almas. There he was involved in researching the planet's history and surroundings, especially the Sith fortress on the opposite side of the planet. The Sith fortress, once home to Darth Rivan, a Sith who terraformed the planet making it viable to live on, was of great concern to the Jedi. The Jedi Academy devoted much time and many resources to the study of the fortress, of which only the upper dome of the structure was visible; the remaining had been buried underground over time.

Minos felt that patience was crucial in dealing with the study of the structure. Although deserted, a strong Dark Side presence could still be felt emanating from the structure and Minos limited the amount of time a Knight could spend inside, as well as required that guards around the fortress be rotated on a regular basis. From the Jedi's study of the Sith building, Minos and the Jedi learned that Darth Rivan was not the original creator of the structure and speculated that he took over after the original owner, perhaps his Master, died.

Additionally, Minos discovered a record of Sith lords left by Darth Rivan that traced back millennia to the days of Naga Sadow, and thus speculated that Rivan was of Sadow's lineage. Minos also believed that one or more Sith artifacts, located somewhere in the depths of the fortress were still active, giving off Dark Side energies. Minos felt that although a strong Dark Side presence still remained around the fortress, it offered no danger to any Jedi studying its mysteries provided the study was not rushed and as much was learned as possible before moving on to any subsequent steps.
